Kae's personal story - 23/10/2023
Attached a photo from Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988 - Kae's first abroad trip and first Highland dance championship competition, which was captured by Glasgow World. My friend found this photo few years ago and asked if this was Kae!?
Kae's personal story 2 - Chika & Nic - 26/10/2023
Kae (Glasgow) was phoning and chatting with her sister Chika (Tokyo) on 1st of January 2015, they made a New Year’s resolution ’NO MORE LATER’.
Kae emailed Nic Gareiss immediately after the phone.
After the first private lesson in June at SDTA studio in Glasgow, Nic asked me ‘Do you want to perform (step dancing)?’ Kae: ‘Well, I think I need a bit more practice…’ Nic: ‘If you want, you should start NOW, firstly find your music collaborator!’
Long story short, you can see what happened with Kae from the video 'Lismore Dance & Music week in 2017'. (Chika joined the week coming over from Tokyo!)
